Arrest of Alleged Nigerian fraudsters in Various parts of the United States Of America


The Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission,Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has express concern about the news of the arrest of 80 persons mainly Nigerians, in various parts of the United States being accused in separate FBI cases of massive email fraud and money laundering.
In a statement, Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed that Prior to this, Valentine Iro and Chukwudi Christogunis Igbokwe were arrested in Los Angeles, While Obinwanne Okeke was arrested in Virginia.
She  said the Nigerian Government will ensure all those accused are given fair and speedy trial.
She also wants all those accused in Nigeria to voluntarily turn themselves in, to American authorities to clear their names.
She said the commission will continue to monitor the case closely.
